Associate

Megan Snow

Megan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Masters of Education degree (Counselling Psychology) from the University of New Brunswick and a Bachelor’s degree from York University. Megan has also recently completed an addictions certification from the University of Laurier.

Megan has experience providing individual and group therapy to adults struggling with a wide va-riety of concerns including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, trauma, sexuality, managing stress, emotions regulation, grief & loss, family issues, and varying degrees of mental illness.

Megan began her social service work volunteering on crisis lines, and working alongside Children and Family Services. Megan has worked with children, youth, and families as a support worker helping families remain connected, happy and healthy.

Megan began her counselling career as a counsellor at George Brown College providing individual therapy to young adults struggling with a variety of stressors, mental health concerns, and various goals.

Megan then spent a significant amount of time working in a residential treatment centre for addic-tions and mental health. During this time Megan worked with adults in group and individual therapy to uncover underlying issues of addictions, providing psychoeducation, and helping with re-entry into the community.

Megan works from an eclectic framework drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Trauma Informed, and Motivational Interviewing.
Megan is a strong believer that everyone is the expert in their own life, and is passionate about working with her clients where they are at. Megan looks forward to walking alongside her clients through their personal journey.
